Starring Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool was released in 2016 by 20th Century Fox, and remains the highest grossing R-Rated film of all time.  The film was nominated for two Golden Globe Award, four Critics Choice Awards (winning two), a Directors Guild of America Award, and four People’s Choice Awards (winning two).  It spawned a sequel, and there are plans for a third film.
